Which airfryer

Hi guys which one do you recommend that is a good buy?
One that can fit more than just 1 potato in it?
Suggestions please

Thanks
The best one you can buy right now is the phillips XXL. The XXL is the revision of the XL and not just about "XXL". However, they are over priced at the moment and should cost you about 3500-4000 and not 4000-6000. The XL should still be good enough. The other airfyers are ok to meh, and I would avoid them if possible. As for the accessories the only one imho you would ever need is the grill kit. I use that as my go to basket instead of the mesh as I feel it just works better. The only other thing you should know is... Never use cook and spray in the airfyer but get yourself a decent oil sprayer where you can put in something like olive oil.

Actually checkout AVO (nedbank's TA/Everyshop)
Philips Premium Collection XXL Airfryer R 3 899.00

If you can get the fekker to setup and buy from as it wasn't the smoothest ride for myself when I got the pasta maker.

If you're looking for a potato cooker an airfryer might be overkill:

It used to be a Sansui so you get a free upgrade to Blaupunkt.

A friend suggested that I buy an air fryer. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who has one, so I can't borrow one to try. Supposedly it works by blowing heated air into a container. Is it like a hair dryer on steroids?
Does anyone on eG have one? How does it compare to a regular deep fryer? Does fried chicken turn out as crisp? French fries? Can you fry anything based on the batter (e.g. tempura) in there? What about donuts? Also, can it be used for anything else?
Your comments would be appreciated.
(I did a search on eG and found no results. If there is an existing thread, could the mods please merge?)

Wtf is eG?

I have always been curious about that sunbeam as its dirt cheap in checkers, feels heavy and solid (unlike the cheap "tin" inside of my Philips 6.2L, the frame not the basket).

Choose a different brand then, makro have many different brands..
Its an oven and cooks food, what more do you want from it?
Also. Maybe you can explain why you say it's rubbish?

The sunbeam fan doesnt circulate the hot air well. Results in either undercooked food or cooked food with very dry parts

Here's a good one, cheap as chips too.
Also blows hot air onto the food, with the added benefit being able to see the food cook.

Will last for many years, but takes 3 - 4 times as long as a Philips Airfryer. If you don't have a stove, but don't mind waiting, definitely get one. It's a bit difficult to keep the glass clean (and it's heavy) but best convection at a budget.

The next option would be a Philips Airfryer.

The only other option is a Ninja, but they not sold in Africa.
