Yes the car was fine but the auto transmission was rubbish. It almost felt like it's a manual car someone invisible is manually is changing gears for me

I think you're just used to CVTs. The Suzuki 4 speed auto felt as smooth to me as my Mazda's 6 speed auto.

Do not be like the masses and buy a Corolla cross or any of the Suzuki/Toyota combos. That Cross is so badly built and feels like a tin can, you better off buying the Corolla sedan or hatch built in Japan. They are built so much better, go look at both and see for yourself. The hatch and sedan XS specs have way more features than the Cross XS

And how much faster is a Corolla Cross going with a 1.8 CVT in that big body? It's 11.15s 0-100 and over 5.5 seconds to 60.
A Suzuki Fronx is under 10s for far cheaper without the hugely increased risk of getting shot for it.

Cross is way worse of a car tbh. Don't get how Toyota managed pull the wool over peoples eyes on that one either.
