We've been using Joomla since it went public on thousands of client's websites with great success. Before that we used Mambo. It might have a slight steeper learning curve than others but it's very powerful and there are thousands, if not millions, templates & plugincs available for it on the web.
Wordpress is also very powerful but it's more geared for blogging so you would need to hack the code a bit to take out the commenting options and some other functions if you don't want it on a company website. But I've seen quite a few very well designed Wordpress-driven company websites as well.
Drupal & Typo3 can also do some amazing stuff but their support community is much smaller than Joomla & Wordpress's so if you need help you may wait a bit longer for anyone to respond.
