The built in ones doesn't have parallel download support.

I have upgraded to FF4, but now it seems FDM doesn't work anymore. :( Will try one of the others.
 
FDM FTFW!!!!

I occasionally use DAP as well... pretty good, but then again, I'm not the kinda guy that downloads the whole internet onto my HDDs :p
 
The only thing that bugs me is that it doesn't "catch" downloads automatically in Chrome, only in IE

The same thing happens with Orbit, which bugs me as well. Going to give Internet Download Manager a try...
 
wget (command line app) on Ubuntu.

.. also does the job running on my headless low powered Arm based Debian server, for the bigger/longer downloads.

Cool, let us know what you think of it compared to Getright!

Well, I've been using Internet Download Manager for a couple of days now and I definitely find it more faster.

It's a little more complicated compared to Orbit, but once you find your way around it, it's actually quite simple.
