I'm driving to Mozambique for a holiday, so does anybody know which GPS I can buy that has Mozambique directions? A friend has a Tomtom GPS but it only has Lesotho, SA and Botswana and no Mozambique, so does it mean I should stay away from a Tomtom or it depends on a model?

Of course it could help if someone has tips on the best hotels/b&bs in Moz. Do they accept rands like they do in Lesotho and Swaziland?

Do they have Moz directions, or it depends on a model?

You must get one with Southern African Maps. It comes in a package. I have been using the Nuvi 1300 very successfully throughout Southern Africa, and that includes Mozambique.

I'll get Nuvi 1300 then.

Have you been in Moz?

Go up every year the standard maps that come with the garmin will show you the main routes in Moz. if you plan going off the main roads you need the southern africa topo maps...

Where in Moz are you going ?

My TomTom has the Southern African Maps - Mozam included.

From TT website "The map of Southern Africa includes full coverage at street level of South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland as well as major cities and major road network of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi. "
