Which inverter to get

Just want to give my experience.
Got an SRNE 3000W 24V Inverter. 2 x Hubble S-100A 100Ah LifePo4 1st-Life.

Didn't have SRNE on my radar at all, due to the talk of Mecer, RCT and other VM style inverters and how loud and irritating they are.
The SRNE's been really great!
Bit of issues to sort out my side with the software reading the battery capacity correctly, but that's about it.
Charge moer fast. From 60% to 100% @ 60A in probably 40 minutes? Maybe bit longer.
Sound? Such a pleasure. Once charged and in use during load-shedding it's dead quiet, unless its about 25* with high humidity then the fan kicks in with a medium soft whir every 15 mins or so that a TV can easily blur out.
Once back on mains and charging, the fan kicks into high gear, it sounds loud but its like a soft whoosing white noise fan sound that you can drown out, it's not an annoying buzz or anything at all. It doesn't bother me. Sound's like a PC with a few quiet fans blowing lots of air under load. On my fast-charging lithiums, this lasts for 20 minutes from 60-80%, then the fans calm down and its back to a softer whir.
Thanks for @DuracellBunny for introducing SRNE to me and for the sale, got cables and a trolley from him too. Give him a shout, really went the extra mile helping my dumbass with endless questions pre and post-sale. No he did not pay me for this, I got charged full :ROFL:

A note on power consumption:
PC specs: i5-12600KF, 16GB DDR4, 3070 GB, 850W PSU
2 x monitors: 24" 144hz LG, 23" Samsung (40W)
Router: Mikrotik hAp Ac2

With this and a 5W lamp my load is:
Regular (Browing, watching a stream, chatting): 180W
Gaming under full load: 390W

This system will hit probably 20% battery % if I gamed for 4-hours straight. A far cry from the 600W gaming load I anticipated.

Nice Review bud. These inverters are like a dream when operating, unfortunately only have one unit left available and more stock is due in Jan or Feb.
 
Anyone knows a physical shop around Randburg/Roodepoort where one can walk in and buy an inverter? Wanting something in an emergency does not quite work out with online shops.

You won't believe the scammers Builders have become of late, I saw a Royal flooded 100Ah for R3800 the other day, I don't even want to know what inverters they have, Leroy Merlin is worth a try, will also pop into Chamberlains and see.

What software do you guys use to monitor your inverter?

Sure the thing with russia causing demand in europe ain't helping

Just checked up what i paid for my 15cells R12650 (3 batches 2020 R750 each /2021 R750 each /2022 R950 each) finally bought a bms for it took the pricier bms R2800 for. A total of R15 450 for 4.8kwh

So the first 100ah battery was essentially R3850 bms was R850 not counting it as expense on the final battery as i use it in bike battery now

Apparently lithium has dropped in price again so hopefully we’ll see better prices moving forward. Pity about the tanking rand.

In my wisdom I connected the fridge to the no names and now they are dead, I was counting on the 320W of solar taking some of the slack, looks like the peak from the fridge was just too much for them, even though they say they can handle 100A.

Nice thing is that unlike the lead acid they are super easy to open, so I will be checking what seems to have gone wrong.

In what way are they easy to open? That would void the warranty surely? Also, I'm sure the BMS will recover on it's own. Maybe just leave them for a few minutes?

I am not bothering about the warranty since it's possible that i might have abused the poor things, too much hassle anyway.

So i assume the jump starts failed

Yea new bms and then the cells are still usable again
