I watched Prometheus and saw something amiss there already. Covenant I read up about on Wikipedia. That's how interested I was in it.
I'd rather sit through the latest drivel from Bruce PayCheque Willis than Covenant. It's killed the myth of the story really.
 
I have both on my Media server and still have not watched it...

Enjoyed it.

  1. More action packed.
  2. Kid is annoying
  3. More palatable to watch with the SO as it isn't a slow burn before it gets good.
  4. More engaging, was supposed to be working while watching but just watched :p
  5. Didn't enjoy Amanda Ripleys made up face.
All in all, really good and looks decent from a 1080p BluRay version. You wouldn't think this was a almost 40 year old movie

Obviously a lot is wrong with me, but that is besides the point. It is just 2 out of 2000 odd movies on my media server. There are many movies on there that I have yet to watch, and many I have watched multiple times like Shawshank Redemption and The Usual Suspects, so like many others they tend to fall between the cracks.

I would have thought the ";-)" would have denoted a tongue-in-cheek comment with nothing else meant by it.

I don't take things on here seriously mate.... Maybe I should also start adding "lol" and emoticons to my messages to denote a reply in jest... Damn I need a sarcasm font haha

Alien uncut version always will be the better one - story and shear scale of design / concept for that era ( 1979 ) was out of this world.

Aliens was Hollywood and James Cameron explosions and razmataz in all it's glory ! gorefest ?

If you can get one please let me know. I'd second that font anyday.

PS: The Shawshank Redemption is one of my favourite movies. Bloody brilliant!
