Which is the true Speedtest

Why do I get vastly different result for the same server in Chicago depending on which Speedtest I use?
Ranges from 45Mbps ( on my 50Mbps line) to 6.5Mbps.
Fastest seems to be Ookla.
What gives? What is my true speed?

The internet is a complex thing, depends on links between these servers and core networks etc. It's not as simple as what is saying is your "true speed".
