Pretty much the thread title. I am moving to an apartment with M-Fibre (which I think is just basically Mesh Telecom). The precint has given me a form (yes, a paper form) to fill out and send back to Mesh telecom to start activation.

I only have the option of the above four providers. No Vumatel, no Openserve, no online portal where I can pick more options, just the paper form.

Trying to get an idea of which one is recommended from a network quality perspective. I checked MyBB, but I'm not 100% sure if this is based on pure customer satisfaction (subjective) or also factors in objective measurements about network quality.

Going strictly by this article it would be ClearAccess > RocketNet > Home Connect. I would like to know if the MyBB forum echoes this sentiment.

Any input appreciated!

I've been with RN for 12 months..no issues apart from vuma being down now and again...would recommend them

Hi, of you pop your address into our site what comes up as options? www.coolideas.co.za
That's interesting, CISP pops up as a provider when I enter the address. And a promotion is being run as well until February 2024 for 699p/m. It's just not clear what pricing it reverts to after February 2024 for a 50/50 line.

Wondering why MFibre didn't put you on the paper form I was sent?

none of the above, especially rocketnet.

as my experience, if you love to be bullied, you are welcome to take rocketnet. :)

Haven't heard a whole lot about them, but what I've heard has always been good.
Curious to hear the other side, is there a post somewhere to read about your experience?

my experience? you may search yourself here but I don't know the posts were removed or not. that was about feb - mar 2020 if I remember correctly. :)

I won't derail this thread further by commenting on what I found after that search. Suffice to say its certainly not worth anyones time.

Moving along...

Thanks Everyone for the recommendations. I have chosen an ISP but it turns out that MFIBRE has some sort of "Network Freeze" from 15 December to 15 January so won't be getting internet until then in all likelihood.

Ke'Dezemba strikes again.
