Which ISP?

Mind explaining why oh super grandmaster? No sarcasm intended. Trying to learn something here.

Think it could be cause of the time it takes to move a line to a new ISP...(up to 15 working days) ...if it's with Telkom you just choose /move you're ISP..easy as 123..

But with the line you have forms to fill in ...wait...pay... :/

But then again...bundle packages work out cheaper?(some though)

OK so these are my choices.

OpenWeb - Just Data (leave line with telkom) or transfer my line to diff isp
PLUGG -Just Data (leave line with telkom) or transfer my line to diff isp
Mweb - Data + Line

Now the question is, which is the best concerning downloading, AUP, constant speed and service

I'm a "low" usage uncapped user I guess. I dont often go over 100GB / month on my 4MB uncapped. Have been using OpenWeb Vanilla Uncapped for the past month and have had no problems @ all. Speedtests usually around 4.2MB down locally, 3.5MB intl (my line syncs @ 5MB) on their Vanilla 4MB uncapped. I'm a daytime user and very seldom watch my torrents (which always seem to be finished when I look). I stream music about 10 hours a day no problem while I work. I don't game so I cant speak for that but pings are always good (I SSH a lot).

I've moved from MWEB and there is nothing bad about MWEB @ all except for their price. Saving close to R150 a month now.

My line is with Axxess as they are the cheapest for 4MB line rental @ R359/month; with the R395/month vanilla uncapped through OW makes a good combo for 4MB uncapped @ R754

I would say i am a "low data" user aswell, Over the past few month i have been going from 20-30GB per month on uncapped 1MB line


All i want is the fastest data account for R190-210.

But jeez, Openweb Gold, Openweb Vanilla, OpenWeb Unshaped Capped, Mweb Uncapped, PluGG uncapped.

All i want is the one that performs the best lol and good for price

I would say i use a lot of b/w and and looking at about 60|GB's per month.

Need good performance at a good price.

I've just cancelled with Data Pathway.

Don't EVER join their uncapped service.
Support is non existent - they NEVER call you back, and your telephone bill is hiked up due to call them all the time on their Sharecall number.

I'm going to be signing up with Cybersmart. 10MB uncapped and unshaped for R895 including the ADSL circuit.

I'm hoping for the best!
