I'm using 8ta with Vodacom modem, but am not sure whether its a "K4605 usb modem". It works seamlessly and the speed is reasonable. You just cant start the connection using the vodacom interface, it tells you something about an invalid SIM. u hv to use the windows one.

Thanks Guys! I can get a MTN modem not sure which model at the moment.
Meanwhile I'm using my N-8 to connect.

Yes, something's wrong with the network. A whole bunch of people are reporting atrocious speeds.
