The guy that did Sicario, Arrival and the new Blade Runner just signed up to do this.

Any classic sci Fi will benefit from new cinematic tech and CGI, but the story needs to be good.

Peter Jackson pulled it off nicely with King Kong and the new Kong is a hit.

Logan's Run needs a remake.
