Amazing to see how many people are recommending the platforms that don't support lossless audio:
- Youtube Music
- Spotify
Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music on the other hand all support lossless and a far higher quality of audio.
I doubt you'll be able to distinguish between AAC 256kbps and flac files unless you really use high end audio.Amazing to see how many people are recommending the platforms that don't support lossless audio:

At a point I had complete hearing loss, I am now back to partial hearing loss so for me there is no diffidence between audio formats. Not amazing, it just demonstrates, how low, most peoples, expectations, of what good audio is, and also how bad the ability of the systems they use to listen to audio are.
Bottom line is "if it makes a noise, it is good enough" look at all the people watching video's and listening to music on cellphones, it is what it is.

What I find strange is that most modern audio creator tools use compressed media to create the sound to begin with so does it really matter? I create a lot of base tracks for individuals. They don't notice anything beyond 192Kbps at 16bits. Not sure if there is some magic in the decoder or not but I personally don't notice.
