which office do you use 03 or 07 ?

i've been using 07 for quite a while now and have got comfortable with. well except for excel which for me is still a pain! i do big extracts at work and usually use excel to view the extracts (as big as 900 000 fields sometime). i find the 07 excel takes forever to open such a file while the previous one 2003 takes long but is still quicker than 07

just an observation. i hope the next installment of office is better.
Strange, I also work with big excel files and I found that 07 handles these better. I like that the files sizes are smaller than for 03 and the pivot tables are easier to use and more robust. I do however miss being able to customise the menu's.

powerpoint 07 has a couple of nice additional formatting features.

For the average user there isn't much difference apart from the menubar layouts.

07... loving it

but one day i actually converted an essay into a picture (which has the annoying effect of not being editable)! not sure what happened but im very wary of 07... still love it though

I use a combination of 03, Open Office and Google Docs. Not a good idea if you're prone to being capped:(

 I HATED 07' new menus, took me twice the time to do anything,

03' FTW! :D

07's menus are MUCH better once you get used to them. I use it at home and at the office, and I HATE it when people ask me for help on Office 03. There is a classic menus plugin for Office 2007, but it's not free.

Office2000 on Windows2000 at work  and OOo 3.1 at home.

And occasionally I use Google Documents (garden boy's pay history, ISP stuff, etc)

I use 03... I feel like changing to 07 when I get Windows 7 but then all the PC's at school are on 03... Then you have to either save in a certain format or have that compatibility thing.. The school is too lazy to install it on all the PC's

07. I also like hanging onto the old/known stuff so used 2003 for a long time but now couldn't live without 07. Menus, well I'd still like to make my own ribbon, cos I seem to use one or 2 buttons on each "page" so why not have all of them on one?
I also work with large datasets and 03's limitation to about 66k rows just wouldn't work for me now. Still annoying that things like the excel destination in SSIS'05 can only do xls not xlsx yet but sure that will change soon.

I really did not like '07 on my Windows system (largely to do with the menus) so I stuck with '03. I now only use OO.

I use office 2007 at work and Office 2008 (for Mac) at home. :)

I always enjoy using the latest version of something.
