Which pc game is the most "hardware" demanding?

In other words, which pc game currently, if set to its max setting (detail) is the most demanding ito hardware requirements (graphics card, ram, cpu, etc).
I'm busy doing an upgrade and the guy doing the upgrade is going to test the hardware with a game, before I take it back...want to know which game I should test it with.
 
Run some 3DMark tests and compare your results with people online perhaps.
 
I tried play GRAW, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and that to this date still lags badly on my machine whilst i can play crysis, far cry 4 and some other newer games very nicely. Try Dat.

Amd64 3000+
1.5 GiG Ram ddr400
HD2400pro AGp

Link to a trusted app for download? Whats a decent score these days, to play any game at highest settings?

GRAW played very well on my current machine (Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz 2GB RAM GeForce 7900GT; Soundblaster ExtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro); but when I try playing any of the newer Tom Clancy games (e.g.Endwar), I get nothing...so hence the upgrade

You can play crysis on a 2400pro agp card with a 3000+ amd?

I find that hard to believe.

Far Cry 4 is out aready?? :confused:
 
Crysis is far and away the most demanding game..... Dual 5870's don't break the constant 60fps sweet spot.
 
The game that has lagged the worst on my computer has been GTA IV, so much so that it has been unplayable.... :(

tx. will run a test with Crysis (max settings) then. Hope the gtx 275 + 6gig ram can do the job; if not will have to try the gtx 295...but can only get that next week
 
Neverwinter Nights 2, but its built badly.

Crysis probably yep, its the benchmark for defining strength, personal capital, willpower and fortitude.

I often get confused as to how well my PC SHOULD perform...

I mean I play the witcher on 1680*1050 and it sticks quite a bit when I run around outdoors!

Dunno if its the bad engine running the game (which I have read about) or if its just a bottleneck...
