So as promised, a review of Mythos.
We visited the Bedford center Mythos, and upon arrival, we were very surprised at how comfortable seats were. The waiter was prompt, wasn't in our face the whole time, but around when needed.
We had a full 3 course meal, and while i cant comment on what my friends ate, my livers were divine, even thou I was skeptical when they were brought to me, as there was no sauce or pita bread to go with them. For mains I had a lamb shank, and right there it felt like a little piece of heaven. The meat was so soft, you didn't even need a knife, it just melted off the bone. Also the size was surprisingly big. The desert was finished off with Baklava, which tasted like it just came out the oven.
The friends also enjoyed the dinner, saying it was in the top league, and that was something one could expect from a place that doesn't use paper napkins, but instead have cloth serviettes all round.
With drinks and a tip for the waiter, the total came to R1100. A bit over my budget, but defiantly worth every cent.
Just be warned, drinks are very expensive, and the waiter upon your arrival asks if he can bring you water for the table, he brings bottled water at a cost of R35 per bottle.
All in all, I would rate the place about 8 1/2 out of 10, with the restaurant loosing points out on expensive drinks and lack of "Greek" entertainment.
