Which VM?

I would like to try linux. Which Virtual Machine should I use? I heard that you can use a VM to install Linux.

Nothing better than Virtualbox, and its even open source so you can use it free. Virtualbox OSE that is

Was just a suggestion. That is how I started with Linux (Ubuntu)
