Which would you choose and why?

Man, don't fuddle my brain more than it's already fuddled :D. I'm a single guy, I don't need that big a car. I know that it's a really nice car because a friend of mine has one but, like I said, it would be overkill.
 
Update

I called the dealer to inquire about the ST.

The salesguy told me that the finance application on it is still outstanding but that I should call him tomorrow and he will then see if he can work out something for me. How ethical would it be to submit two different finance applications for two different people for the same vehicle? I don't want the vehicle that bad that I would stoop to those tactics :( but it seems that they want to sell it that bad.
 
Buying a car is an emotional decision - go for the Fiesta ST.

That said, in 2 year's time, you might be thinking: "I should have bought the Hyundai"...

I would buy the Fiesta though :)

Just find another ST.

They are not that hard to find. Maybe even go for the Focus. Now that is a machine :p
 
You're losing money either way, but you lose even more when you switch. So get the ST then you won't have to sell the hyundai later to get an ST.

On that note how does all those "added extras" really affect your "risk" i mean does it really make a difference and are they cost effective. Don't get me wrong they r very good to have 4 peace of mind

I would actually have to get quotes to see how it would affect my risk, and whether it would make an appreciable difference.

This would be my 4th. Current car put a smile on my dial - looking for something that'll capture that same feeling.
 
Looking for a smile on your dial...lol...the Huyindai will NOT put it there. Dont let them fool you with that 5 year maintenance plan thingy!!!

I started out buying 2nd hand.

Number 1 was a 1999 Mazda Etude 180iSE - Full House. Didn't use it much because I travelled with public transport. When I changed jobs and had to start using it more, the fuel costs became a bit much.

Number 2 was a 2006 Nissan Almera; bought on residual. Was automatic, not really my thing, but was a nice car altogether.

Current car is a Mazda 3 Sport 1.6 Active - really has soul. I'm ashamed to say that I did a stupid thing by taking over my nephew's finance payments for it, and now he wants it back, after I paid of a chunk of his finance - not a mention of any kind of reimbursement (he's getting his car back after all, with the finance now paid to a level where he can trade it in at for at least a small profit). I decided to give his car back but not without taking the necessary legal measures against him since we had a written agreement after all. Btw, there was nothing in the agreement that said that he could back out of the deal.

Anyway, since I lost a whole lot of money on that car now, I'm trying for some kind of redemption by trying to buy something that I really like and that I would really like to keep/own.

There, I just bared my soul to you now. And now people can lambast me about doing deals like that because I was one on this forum to caution people about doing such deals and here I went an acted against my own advice. It was family involved and there was a certain measure of trust, which now have been broken and so too the family bond - goes much deeper than just the car.
 
man thats sad but unavoidable with most family members. back on topic, i'd say get the ST!!! and you will feel much better.

what colour is it?
 
dont forget to factor in window tint, aftermarket exhaust and the bass!
