Which would you pick?

Always makes me wonder why someone would return an almost brand new vehicle.
The story the dealer told me is that the previous owner (lady) bought it to drive while she was waiting for her Porsche to arrive on backorder. It's ludicrous enough to sound legit. The car still has the factory stickers on the seats, and plastic under the foot mats.

I trust a dealers word as much as that of an Estate Agent. Anyways, you must be super excited!

Well I sold cars years ago and we had this low mileage cars every now and then.
Some was in a crash while new or fell of lift in the garage. Not sold yet.
We got back from customers, but normally it was a lemon and/or customer was not happy with the purchase.
Also sometimes new cars got registered and given to salesman to drive a few months so they could depreciate on the books.

Sometimes cars become demos that weren’t planned as demos but they rotate them before the new year rolls in because otherwise they’ll lose even more on the rollover.

December is the absolute best time to buy cars because of this and the fact they close early so salespeople have less time to hit their targets and make their commissions.

It might not actually have been registered to that lady but long term loaned for whatever reason, but Speedster will only see that on the paperwork once he gets it I think.

I'm buying from a private dealer, so I doubt it was dealer stock/demo.

Here's a virtually identical deal if anyone else is looking: https://www.webuycars.co.za/buy-a-car/Haval/Jolion/445B07319

So yours has 30 000km on the clock, if you bought the one mentioned initially

So you have 6 warranty left and 3 services?

No, and no. It's a different one. 3600km on the clock (as posted above). Still has 7 services and 6 1/2 years warranty.

That particular Chery and it's sister Omoda car had an issue with the rear axle. There were multiple threads / pictures floating about last year. There was a thread on reddit and I think topauto posted a response from Chery.
AFAIR they were recalled. There was even a video where it was just driving in a straight line and the axle just fell off and the car flipped. It was posted here and I still have the link but it has been deleted and wiped off the internet (sus).
This sounds like big BS That would have been big headlines, not somehow "wiped off the internet" - which, we all know, is not possible...

But isn’t that exactly the type of car then where the TCS only cuts power and isn’t integrated into tue whole system because that’s what the ESP/ECS does.

That’s how it used to be in the old days, but now it’s all just one thing.
No idea, it has esc and esp as well. It was the first time seeing the yellow light come on :) it could be all of them

Could be a possibility, know someone who did the same, but they scored RAF and blew it all.

I got my Mahindra at the beginning of the month for 40k less thanks to clearing stock. 260km on the clock still brand new.
It was their demo model
Which model did you get? And I'm assuming you're happy with your decision?

XUV 3X0 AX5, yeah happy with it :). It was the colour I wanted, almost the spec I wanted. Very smooth to drive.
A friend managed to get a pickup for R70k less, it's this time of year they want to move stock.

BTW which colour did you end up with. The Jolion is a nice looking car, just the poverty spec dash is not so nice
