So on the back of this TBH im a bit lost.Heading back to Wild about Whisky again later this month - looking forward to trying some more might fine drams!
Ill see if I can try a few more Ardbeg committee releases.
Try Ledaig, I enjoyed everyone I've tried(Tobermory is the unpeated version of Ledaig). Also, Amrut CS Peated, a whopper at 62.8%. If they have some SMWS bottlings then maybe try a few, they do good expressions as well.So on the back of this TBH im a bit lost.
I have dabbled in whisky for about 5 years and I love ALL good whiskys and I am also a peat head.
SOOO....
I am a bit lost as to where to start with this Wild abt Whisky tasting. I def wanna try some more Ardbeg committee releases but anything else that you would say are must tries?
Remember I like it as long as its good and I dont mind paying a bit - always go there as a treat!
Perfect the "off the beaten" track ones this is exactly what I am looking for thanks for the recommendations.Try Ledaig, I enjoyed everyone I've tried(Tobermory is the unpeated version of Ledaig). The last few years I've been to them, I'd sit down and ask them to try some special stuff that's out of the ordinary. There was a younger brunette lady that really new her thing and would dig up obscure bottles and limited releases. It's worked very well for me.So on the back of this TBH im a bit lost.

I have done something similar on the last trip with some extra requests. Might do this again. The last few years I've been to them, I'd sit down and ask them to try some special stuff that's out of the ordinary. There's a serious lack of peat here.....not a fan?

I see the Highland cuuuu! They’re from my wife’s private function lounge/restaurant. She does mostly lunch functions for groups but does some whisky tastings for groups now and then. This for example was from the weekend when she did an entry level intro to a few regions for a birthday.
