Got the same email, thanks. GBP 295 is not in my budget for one bottle. That's the equivilent of 2 top shelf bottles of Bourbon. And BA has been hit and miss s well the last 4 releases or so...

Yeah, not worth the gamble for me either. Not when I spent less than that on two bottles of Kilkerran 8 Port and another Sherry, while they're still available.

Had some new Lagavulin last night....both were great. Which was surprising when reading some of the scathing reviews, especially re. the Diageo releases.

I have a Mafia member visiting me for a few days next week...but he's bags are full already unfortunately.

Then only again in March friends are coming over that will not take stuff back for themselves.

The Sherry is okay but the Port cask is glorious. My first bottle is almost dead so thought I'd better get more while still reasonably priced and available.

That Port Cask is glorious indeed...I don't really bother with the Sherry as I am generally not a fan of those styles or finishes in any Whisky.

That Longrow is quite disappointing. Even the guys at the distillery don't say positive things about it.

Those prices are rough though, sheesh. I paid £260 for the three bottles, shipped to my door.

Haha ya you sent me that. Crazy prices, especially don't understand the Longrow as that is available for under 1k
