I purchased the Teeling gift pack for R399 at PnP. Even the SO was impressed with the smooth taste. Those glasses are very nice, the picture doesn't do them justice.

Anyone care to recommend a decent whiskey glass locally?

Depends what you want. You want the classic whisky glass or a nosing glass like glencairn? My preference is the latter if you're into single malts etc.

Aficionados usually stock the nosing glasses, but seem to be out of stock. But maybe there is something else you like.

At this stage - just decent drinking glasses Ordered a crystal set of takealot, which they just cancelled and refunded, now trying to find an alternative, I like a more open glass than the closed tops.

Royal Brackla. Beautiful stuff. Was recommended at a large whisky retailer in Scotland and it didn't disappoint. Get it if you run into it.

I bough that as well quite a while ago. Those glasses are great quality, but a bit small for ice etc.

I bought a few of these gift boxes, just so I could get a set of the glasses.

But, what kind of barbarian put ice in whiskey!?

I’ve been using these for sometime and they are a great piece of kit. A bit on the smaller side but the rocking motion is great if you add ice to your tipples
