Have you tried the Blaaack yet?

I got mine yesterday and couldn't wait to pop it open. Really like it, nice and smooth, good light flavours (slightly sweet) and not overly peated.

Since I received it at 10am, not yet. ;)

Also I'd rather wait for my 2nd bottle first, just to be 100% sure.

Collect one and drink the other.

There we go, that's looking much better. Good luck with filling in the missing bottles.

M2005 vintage should be the easiest. Will keep a look out when I'm in the shops. Maybe give Sav a call at Bottega and ask him as well.
Thanks.

Thanks called them and they had website issues around the time I ordered which I do recall, they're expecting stock to arrive on Wednesday.
Any update? I am starting to think it will be a long time before we get an email

Nothing yet, expect they would only start shipping later today/tomorrow if the stock comes in today. Will only follow up later tomorrow if I don't hear anything.

Bottega 'special' deliveries are out... friend picked ours up earlier and said the shop was filled with packages going out for delivery

Pulled the trigger on this one today:

Laphroaig.JPG
TWO REDS ARE BETTER THAN ONE. INTRODUCING THE 2020 CÀIRDEAS - AN INSTANT CLASSIC CRAFTED WITH RUBY PORT BARRIQUES AND RED WINE CASKS

Our 2020 annual release of Laphroaig Càirdeas, Port & Wine Casks, continues our long history of innovation. A unique marriage of our classic Laphroaig whisky rested in second-fill Ruby Port ‘barriques’ along with whisky double matured in ex-Bourbon barrels followed by ex-red wine casks. Soft, round and warming, it’s an incredible ‘friendship’ that charts continents, styles and flavours.

Aromas of dark chocolate and menthol with pink peppercorns open up to an extraordinarily complex flavour. Toasted peaches, charred marshmallows and a hint of plum jam intertwine with Laphroaig’s iodine rich peat smoke to create a limited edition that lingers long on the palate and the memory.
