Nothing wrong with a 10yo IrishBrave man putting that West Cork in there.
Nothing wrong with a 10yo Irish...and the stuff from West Cork has never been bad.
I bought this one on a whim off of Takealot and wasn't disappointed at all.
A lot of green apple on the nose, also coming through on the palate with a nice honey and cereal note.
It's no Waterford or Green Spot and I will not replace the bottle, but you wouldn't spit it out either. An excellent introduction to Irish Whiskey I would say with a lot of high marks on Internet ratings.
Thanks for this. Going down a treat, and a damn good price as well

Has anyone in JHB been to the the tops in Bedfordvillage Shopping Centre.
They have a huge selection of high end whiskeys but they store them in direct sunligt can this change the flavour some whiskeys did look lighter then i would have expected but it is hard to tell without holding the bottle and they behind glass.
That place has crazy pricing. I have checked it out and they are not really in direct sunlight due to that metal honeycomb type shield in front of the window but I've also wondered about this.
Avoid the sun
While UV rays won't spoil liquor, extended exposure to the sun has a similar effect to storing at high temperatures (speeding up the oxidation process). In fact, researchers from Bacardi showed that sun can be even worse for liquor than warmth.
The car guard is deciding what he's going to be spending his tips on.They still get too much light for my liking, see picture. I did get Axs a bottle of Glen Elgin from another store that was in the light and it's different from a non-exposed bottle.
