I really enjoyed it and will definitely attend the next one. I just dont know which was better, the whisky or the girls pouring the whisky.

I tasted Ardberg for the first time, will never put my nose and mouth through that again, it was disgusting. It was also strange seeing so many youngish people as to older.

All in all, very enjoyable evening even though I died the next day.

I see the Wade Bales event is happening on 12 May, JHB event should be 2 weeks later. Always a good event to attend, I prefer it to the Whisky Live.

Let me put it this way. I will not even try to remove stains out of carpets from now on with peaty whiskeys.

I only tasted it to see what the hype was about and to kill my curiosity.

Hahaha.... Touche. I LOVED Ardberg when i had it though but i AM inclined to the heavier peat.

Looking forward to getting the dates for that Wade Bales do, should be fun

JHB should be 25th and 26th May, still waiting on tickets to go on sale.

Drinking this at the moment: Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or Whisky , bought it at Makro, as Bottleshop didn't have stock when I wanted it. Awesome tipple.
