The Ardbeg is on special for like R550 a bottle for the 10 yr Islay. Definitely worth it.
I am quite keen on trying out the Glenmorangie Lastana, it seems to be a decent price.

Think I must give the Ardbeg a try. I really liked the Lagavulin 16 I previously bought.

Ai, would have loved that jug. Really want one to keep water during my sessions...

In time for the holidays and the weekend:

Will do reviews on both here, probably in the new year.

Managed to get the Glenmoranje 18 year old. Such a lovely drink.

Instantly converts all whiskey haters

I bought the following over the last couple of months and realized that Blended whiskey is more of an art than single malt.(IMO)

Glenfiddich 12y - great taste and keeps me coming back for more
Glenlivet 12Y - great but lacks a little kick, but still a very good whiskey
Bells - not to fond of it
Jameson - yet to try
Chivas Regal 12yr - great blended whiskey, would choose it over the Glenlivet 12 anyday

The champagne and cognac look in line with a club’s price.

Not sure for these whiskies, I usually order cheaper ones.

The Glenfiddich 50yo is around $26000 so around 320000 rands. 600k at club prices is not surprising then.

Kream in Mall of Africa have a 600k bootle whiskey on their menu.
