What's your opinion of the No Name? I quite liked it but was looking for another dimension/flavour profile in addition to the peat.

It's remarkably good. I love it but I am a peat head.

It's 75% Ardbeg. I'm considering getting another bottle.

Yip, R1700 for the No Name.

I really want a bottle of the Double Single and that's about R2700 a bottle.

Your lucky day

At that price point probably the green "small batch". Black is 12yo. Red is 15yo darkest.

Currently working my way through a 15yo. Interesting combo of salt and sherry. I quite like it. 12yo is also very good.

Yeah it's the green.
I have one after work, then swap to my goto cheap whiskey Vat69.

I bought 2 bottles the 12year old hit me in a mess.its seemed very strong that a friend had a shot with me and refused a 2nd one

If you're finding it too strong add a few drops of water. It's a pretty easy going whisky so maybe you just need a bit of time to acclimatise to it.

Can highly recommend the Deanston 12, been struggling to find it anywhere ended up ordering a bottle from bottleshop.co.za for R689.

Checkers have this on special today - is it a reasonable whisky and worth getting?

So I haven't had whiskey in a while. I picked up bottle of Paddy's and discovered that I could hardly get it down. It was so SWEET, like syrup. Tried Jamesons....sweet.

WTF?
