WL is great if you go early enough to miss the worst of the crowds. Wouldn't bother with premium tickets though.

Once you've been to a Wade Bales event, you'll never bother going to WL again.

Same to be said about The Only Whisky Show hosted by WhiskyBrother.

The last WL I went to was about 7 years ago when they still only did whisky. I managed to get 1 of 20 or so VIP tickets which included a chauffeur transfer from home as well as dinner and access to the VIP area. Was around R700 or so.

Driver arrived at my house in a brand new Audi RS7, drove me to Convention Center and waited for me to finish the evening and then drove me home. Was a fantastic evening.

I never went to another one.

Warehouse clearance sale on at Bottleshop, couple good whisky specials.
These lying scumbags...."up to 60% off".

I'm still searching.....

Everything that is actually in stock on Bottleshop, you can buy at big retailers like Makro.

The rest that says 10 - 14 days, you can buy online yourself from Master of Malt at a better price.

One example:

Top one is Bottleshop...bottom one is Makro.

I've got lot's more.
What a joke....

Yup do your homework for sure, there were a couple good whisky deals now sold out.

Just poured myself a Queen Margot, the controversial Lidl whisky. At €6.99, I have my reservations. Cracking the cap, I was pleasantly surprised by the caramel aroma. Neat, a bit harsh for my liking. Dropped a cube of ice in it. Will see if that improves it. Maybe it needs water or soda?

Will report back when I’ve had a few.

Highland Black 8 year old blend from Aldi is also a cracker at £12.99.
