The one I have here is September 2006. I also just discovered the the cork doesn't seal. Have to store it upright. Way to go, Three Ships!
I'm not a fan of corks and would much prefer whisky produces used screw tops (as with the Bains 15). I know it's the 'popping of the cork' and the 'tradition' but really it's a headache because it means whisky has to be stored upright.
Haven't yet had a bad cork experience with a Three Ships bottling (yet) but manufacturing faults happen with everything. My Big Peat 2018 cork broke the other day lol.
