I'm working on a possible import order. If we can decide on a cost you'll be happy with, surely we can make a plan?

Gets to about R 800 al in...

The store in Randburg did have stock towards the end of 2020 and it was in the region of R300.

This?

This?

Yes, I already shipped a few bottles down to CT last year. Bart Simpson took 2 and Morkhans took 1.

Operative word being "had".

The last time Wild Turkey 101 was available from suppliers was around 2013/2014. Whatever is there is old stock and it hasn't moved since then. The odds of it still being there is high. I took 6 bottles and there was about 6 bottles left.

That's why @Luben is known as "The Hunter/Gatherer" within our CWC...if it's in SA, he will find it.

Doubt they will replenish it then. Doesn't seem to be a big seller for them. I'd love to get both the normal Rye and Bourbon 101 ones.

Good price. And just qualifies for free delivery :)

Knob Creek R459

I think we're both missing the other person point, no issues though, you can't be that bad seeing as you're part of the Three Ships and Bains appreciation society

My 1st post in this thread

I am doing a 5 day hike on Otter Trail in 10 weeks time and need advice on a nice whisky/whiskey to take with me.
There is just no way in hell I am hiking with 15 litres beer.

I just need 1 bottle of good white spirits that I can mix with fresh river water (I cannot stomach neat stuff).

I'm not a big liquor drinker but I did drink out a bottle of Monkey Shoulder once about 2 years ago that was gifted to me for free, and I really enjoyed it
Any recommendations in that price range?

Thank you

Probably best to understand what types of flavours you prefer then work from there :

Fragrant and Floral
Fruity and Spicy
Malty and Dry
Rich and Round
Smoky and Peaty
