The one I picked up is the same as the one on the left, also from checkers at 25% off as per previous poster. Does anyone know how old these specific bottlings are? There are two versions of the label. See my two bottles below. So far I am aware, the liquid in both is the same.

Indeed, best bourbon I've had so far.Have also been looking at that, better option?
Cape Gate.Which Checkers?
Good to know, thanksIndeed, best bourbon I've had so far.
My short whisky journey has introduced me to flavours I never thought I would enjoy in a drink, smoke, salt, pepper, malt, wood etc. and connected me with flavours of nostalgia, butterscotch ( like the old Milky Lane one ), licorice which sent me the bourbon route.Good to know, thanks
yeah. I think I've got doing my homework when purchasing whisky checked hey. But thanks for the tip anyway ;-)Why is this such an issue??
Do your homework when shopping for Whisky. I go to all online sites and compare pricing before pulling the trigger on a purchase.
If TA has a bottle of Laga 16 for R 1800 or whatever, I just smirk and browse further.
Let's talk about Whisky/ey instead of "irritating" eCommerce practices.

I too love talisker...look my notes won't be great but let me see what I can give you. It's exactly what you would imagine a young talisker taste like. So it's more spikey, I found it pretty complex lots of spice and flavour not at smokey-peaty as the 10 if memory serves correct. Lots of citrus/lemon and then pepper. Reminds me of that pepper lemon seasoning.oh great. It was around R1k a few years back. Whats it taste like? Give us your Nose, Taste Finish experience. I loooove all things talisker![]()
