Took a different road home and stopped at one of the stores I don’t frequent. Very impressed with the hual.
Paid R495 for the peat monster, I thought it was a mistake, but it went through. Strongly considering going back for more, they had 3 left still

Good deal on the peat monster. Given the bourbon cask finish three ships you also picked most likely stock that has been sitting for a while. Thats also the older packaging for peat monster. The new "painted edition" is a different blend along with new packaging.

Been looking for the old one for a while. But could never get myself to pay the premium asked online. Sits nicely next to his younger brother and the Peat Monster Arcana. I am now tempted to open the lot and do a comparison, but it is a school night

Just bear in mind that the Restaurant Series are glass and slightly thicker than the other series.
I have decided to give these a whirl - will report back.

Must admit that I have in general found my Reidels to be pretty robust. Have broken very few. Gotten to the point that the enjoyment derived from using them outweighs the possible risk.
