Been that price for quite a while, wonder what it is like? See it is 51.5% not bad abv

That's expensive. I picked mine up for R830ish.

It's fine/decent. Better than Bains. If you're going to go for a grain then I'd take Invergordon 22/23 year old.

Pretty sure @MightyQuin tried it. Would be keen to see his thoughts.

Truth.

Picardi Rebel still has stock online. @dualmeister is great at finding these things in the wild, too, so I'm sure he'll ll have a hookup.

I've seen some in JHB at Boulevard liquors. It's possible that Bottega might also have in store.

The other issue is that I'm leaving the country in the next few months, all going to plan, so more whiskey to get rid of would only piss off the missus...

Also had some of this on Saturday, which was also special. Wasn't familiar with the distillery beforehand, unlike Arran of which I'm very fond.
Worth a taste if you have the opportunity.

Whisky Brother just added new stock of some things - most interestingly 5 new bottles of their Three Ships releases. Thought it was "once it's gone, it's gone".

Not complaining, I got my Moscato and contemplating a couple backups of the 9yo. Delicious stuff.

First alcohol pickup in a loooong while (all blind buy):

Got my eye on a few more for this month, but will sleep on the others and see which I really want.
