White man must pay

This community is mostly uneducated, unemployed and very supicious of outsiders. Also its an election year and community leaders are making the most of it as many wards have not yet elected their candidates - so its all about the brownie points.

Personally I'm questioning the number admitted to the hospital as I stay a block away from it and did not notice any increase in pedestrian traffic in or around the hospital. Sudden influx of 5/6 dozen people would be noticable.
 
correct me if I am wrong but a FOOD company's goods were dumped there. How the hell did medical supplies (the tablets) end up there and how is it even remotely related to the food poisoning? I am smelling sensationalism here. Maybe some of the brighter ones thought "maybe we can see if political parties are interested in bribing us with food and medical parcels to get our votes"

I can understand how hungry people would think it's an offer from the gods to see food lying about especially when we don't know when their last meal was.
But blaming "white people" pisses me off - clearly it has got nothing to do with a white person but one of their own race.
Attended by ANC and SACP leaders, the meeting was concluded the same way it was opened, with a prayer.

That's it ANC jump on the bandwagon....all arrive in your X5's create a fuss, blame the white man and then drive off actually accomplishing nothing to their poverty but getting a brain dead vote. again
 
I agree with them that whoever dumped the food is responsible. You don't take food you know is expired and dump it at a poor area where people are hungry.

Nobody was blaming 'white people' they are blaming one white man - "The white man must pay the people he hurt and he must close down his business,"
- it's not a general white people are to blame statement

more like when soccer fans vandalize the stadium, the team supported has to pay the price even though they were not responsible ... But then we don't know the inception of this, will continue debating with indistinctness

I hear you, but surely these people mean the white man is the owner of the business who's food were dumped. And the driver of the truck dumped it without question and is free from all blame?

Referring to his race - he has a name, his company has a name as well - they should use that.
 
I'm of the opinion that this story will get some kinda razzie award at the end of the year.

Hope it didn't make international news , O the horror!!!
 
Now they will need to put warning labels on creates to the effect of "Do Not Eat", etc even on dumping grounds, just because of this. In later news, dumped medical supplies are proven to be ineffective treatment.
 
Let's look at this logically. If you are starving you will eat anything.

Everyday I see people looking in bins for food. So if I was hungry, poor and found dumpled food in sealed containers I would eat it too. Expired dates or not.

So - those people digging in my bin each Friday for food - they can now hold me responsible for them getting sick from my dumped left overs? Makes sense.... I pick up and eat something that wasn't mine to begin with...and then want someone to pay when the **** hits the fan...which I'm sure it literally did in this case.

Yes people do strange things when they are starving, but still, if you do steal the old food and get sick, you have absolutely no right to blame anyone but yourself, and saying it has something to do with racism? Really?
 
It doesn't say much for the intelligence of the community if they thought a white man knew they were stupid enough to eat the expired food and get sick.
