Perfect world: A partner that enjoys the odd party. If you can spend a weekend watching movies/DVDs with me as well as go out and have a good time with me, I may put a ring on it. :p

Sure, buddy. Whatever helps you validate and justify your own life choices.

The reason you wouldn't want to be the one who settles down with one, even though you'd probably scuttle your relationship in an instant for a night with a hot chick, is because you'd be too intimidated by their life experience.

lyrica ? honestly i dont know this drug in great detail. Drs seem to like it, patients seem to like it and its quite effective. Havent had anyone complain about it... yet

why?

[ot]

Just for use as a non benzo anxiolytic... had occasion to ingest some the other day, and it was remarkably effective.

But way too expensive for little old me, heh.

Who's happier, coffee drinkers or tea drinkers? It's the same question really.

Party for a couple of years, then settle down :)
Or twenty.

i think i have just realised at my age (24) that it is a lot more fulfilling to love someone and have someone there, than to have a random shag each weekend. The latter feels like a rather lonely life for some reason. I just look at most single guys at my age, all they are actually doing is looking for a girlfriend but they end up banging random girls, and those obviously aren't girlfriend material.

I also found at this age, having a "high Number" isn't thing people are really proud of. At 21 okes where on a mission to rack up their tally. Now i notice my mates trying to make excuses to girls of why they have a high "hit" ratio.
Everything you've described is entirely personal preference, from trying get as many women as possible to preferring something stable. The latter would be boring to others. Then are those people who have long-term, but fiery, almost adversarial relationships, with plenty of very loud arguments where the unacquainted observer might even think they were about to kill each other or on the verge of a break-up.

Growing up is weird :p
You aren't even there yet.

By the sound of things the feeling would be mutual.

Those who are married are happiest. Apparently they also live longer.

Are we talking about first or second marriages here? Honest question. To say married people are happier and live longer is a bit meaningless considering the divorce rate. Did my life expectancy drop after my divorce?

Considering my stress levels when I was married compared to my stress levels now I would have to say I have a better life expectancy at present. Although, hypothetically my current stress levels might be less if I was in a happy relationship.

Is anyone ever really happy? Ever? Anyone?

I am :)

depends what you seek out of life. Most people never stop to pay attention to detail. Then one day it hits them like a bus and they realise they no different from worker ants. Wake up in the morning go to work, sit in traffic, work, have tea, work some more, have lunch, go home, sit in traffic again, have supper sleep .... AND repeat on a daily basis with the odd excursion on the weekend. Only one day to wake up and realise they have done nothing with their lives. People are delusional that life is long and think they have time to appreciate the finer things later.

Like I used to have a good job paid well etc. I left so that I could learn more because I like to learn stuff now i dont earn a 5th of what i used to but waay happier. Sleep in, no traffic, go to my lab and play with chemicals if it works yay if it doesnt try something else, drive my little budget sports car like a toy, go when I feel like to spoil my lady with what I can.

Simple things :) people just need to find what they want out of life and just simply do it. Do what you like and do it till it kills you... just dont be a douche

right now i work locums as a freelance pharmacist. Im doing a masters in medical sciences: pharmaceutical chemistry specialising in nanomedicine.

So far ive been successful in taking the standard TB treatment formulations and "shrunk" them down to 45nm in size and store the entire month supply within the body :) ... though this is not good enough for my field to amount to anything lol ... yet

If you marry the right person, then you will be happy, happier than most i would surmise.
