If you look at the fundamental teachings of the PAC, they are an almost exact replica of the ANC's. Both want Africa for the African's, both preach against the evils of the imperialist super-powers. They are two sides of the same coin. Hardly surprising that both would want to claim kudos for Sharpeville. Malema's comments against PAC are hardly accidental, it almost goes hand in hand with his rantings against the boer. Its the ANC flexing their muscles again, reminding everybody that they are on top and in control.

I may be way off here, but Malema has often commented in the past about how white people still occupy the top paying jobs and positions in SA, along with his rantings about South Africa's wealth being pumped overseas through the mines. Also combine that with the hundreds of kilometres of land farmed by white people. I'm guessing in Malema's mind, the struggle is far from over. Perhaps he fancies himself at being at the helm of a new struggle, to reclaim the last vestiges of money and land back to African control, that the ANC hasn't gotten the full deal for its people. The ANC have supported him 100% in everything he's said so far. You're thoughts?

Only the struggle to put the ANC in power is over. The struggle for a free and fair reasonable democratic state is still on going.

You raise an important issue. But quite frankly, Malema isn't fit to be at the helm of a bath toy boat. Anyway The "Struggle" Mamajyot is refering to was against apartheid, which is over.
Evidently, a few people in this thread also don't understand how political satire works. Zapiro criticised the apartheid government, rightly so, and now he's criticising the new government, rightly so. Why do people always have to try and make the world fit into an "either, or/ us, them" mentality?
They know his influence. He did a great job for them and conversely he can do a lot of damage to them
