Do you have one?

Why do you have one?

I'm considering getting one myself.

Just say NO!

That's all very well and good.

But when facing a bill of in excess of 2k a month the R450 cap is looking more and more appealing.

Trolling or for reals?

Just be aware that if you get one, apart from being labelled a coward and shunned by the general community you will never be allowed to complain about those eTolls just like those who don't vote shouldn't complain about our **** government - you will be enabling the problem.

I could take alternative routes - but that is going to double if not triple my travel time in the mornings.

Willing to bet that that cap will either be multiplied or nonexistent within 2 years.

If that is the case then I will be in the same boat as everyone else when that happens.

But at least for a year or 2 I will be paying less...

No you won't.
You'll have accepted their illegal terms and conditions to your detriment. Everyone else won't have.

Which part of their T&Cs do you have an issue with? I was reading through them this morning and while I am not a lawyer I don't see any part of them that seem unreasonable.

It also states quite clearly that at any time I am allowed to end the agreement between myself and SANRAL - so what exactly is the issue with them?

Lol. This is like asking a class full of matrics if they have syphilis, and hoping someone puts their hand up.

There's no guarantee that the cap won't be 2K a year from now, though. But I agree, it's Hobson's choice and I utterly resent these lowlife scum bottomfeeders for forcing this down our throats. There are many cases in the history books of a populace being unfairly taxed, and they don't usually end well for the oppressors. They should take note of that.
