Who here is a regular at Mugg & Bean?

Student days - sitting there drinking bottomless coffee was fun.
Popped in there a few months ago for a coffee and & it wasn't nice.
 
The omelettes, quesadillas and bacon&avo sandwiches are nice.
 
What I can't understand is the pseudo outdoor seating that have in the middle of certain malls it just makes noise levels annoyingly unbearable.
 
every now and then, mostly take the family for breakfast and the new M&B in Ballito is really efficient and great with taking care of their customers
 
I popped in recently and ordered a fruit smoothie it was so sweet and the flavour was very fake, disappointed considering the price :(
 
Good place for coffee and a croissant.

Yeah, new broom and so on....... used to be my go to breakfast place, but gone to the dogs of late ! Brooklyn, Menlyn, Centurion, Mall@Reds........
 
I'm a regular and I would recommend that you try the Berry Bliss breakfast bowl as well as the Qasadilla with cheese, mushrooms and jalapeño... it's amazing
 
Their Buttermilk crumbed chicken burger isn't bad at all.

same... and every time I've been to the gateway branch the food has not been great, and anything from the "bakery" is just vile

Never have problems , though I think the chicken avo wrap has become smaller. and usually for breakfast I'll have a Famous one. Good stuff but M&B can be expensive.
 
Crikey no. Average (at best) coffee, meal portion sizes have shrunk whilst prices have increased.
 
I see Mugg & Bean at Monte has closed down and all the other restaurants outside are now serving breakfasts.
 
The one at OR Tambo air-side international is actually alright. Overall, it really depends on where you end up as each one appears different and deteriorating in general. My local Food Lovers is better than Mugg n Bean.
