Who pays when their dog attacks?

So, at the end of the day, the answer to the question on the thread title was....who let the dogs out... :)

This is a personal liability claim which can be quite enormous especially if an important part of your body was damaged and you suffer loss of future income. You can also claim for your time off work and every other related expense. These can go into the millions of Rands if you lose say a few fingers.

No fingers lost but the settlement exceeded R50k. Cheap for an ins co. For a change, no arguing or wriggling from the ins co, and I am not greedy

Is she retarded? Can her dog fly or something?

Some people think their opinions are always right

I recently imported some stuff from the USA. Tracking showed it had been lying at UPS in Jhb for 5 days. I phoned them to find out: They did not know how to contact me they said. My name, phone no (both) and email were on the suppliers invoice, on top. The excuse? "No-one told me to look there". She was adamant that the shipper should have notified them, not her job to go scratching around

Judging by the pic earlier in the thread, the house is in a normal single-unit residential area, not a complex.
