still don't understand the joy in hitting some ball with a stick wearing some hideous shoes. Awesome sports are the ones where you cant even think about something else while playing them. Football, basketball and Rugby are good examples. But some people like cauliflower and broccoli so what do i know
Because a bad day on the golf course is still better than a good day at the office.still don't understand the joy in hitting some ball with a stick wearing some hideous shoes. Safe your first game for when you're in a small town. You can play with jeans and tekkies and no-one look at you funny or chase you away. Also R50 specials for 18 holes etc on some days. I play regularly because it's cheap.Only started learning to play golf about 2 1/2years ago. Have only been playing mashies though. Still to scared to try a proper golf course. Looks too intimidating.

Your contribution exposes all the ignorance of the tradition and etiquette of the game of golf.
Golf Clubs and the game has a format and a culture that has evolved over centuries.
You don't belong!!!!!!!!!!
Get off the bus and play soccer.
Rout with the louts in your jeans and tĂŞkkies.
FAO cpu.
I only go to the range and send the ball flying over 200m.I have no intention walking after the ball and hitting it again.![]()
Congratulations. Obviously teachers aren't that poor. Golf is a rich man's game.
Is it wrong to assume that all golf players are snobs?
I always think people get into golf to show some social status.

Nope, I would not say that.
Noone that I've ever played together with could be considered a snob. Doesn't mean that there aren't some @ssholes aroundwould 80% of the time be an accurate figure?
