Who's changing to Neotel?

Just wondering who else is going to change to Neotel when they start with residential adsl?

I will base my decision on cost. I am not going to screw over myself just to spite Telkom. That is just daft. And to be fair to Telkom the service I have got ove the past two years has not been bad.
 
I don't have ADSL yet, but will definitely sign up with Neotel. That is if their pricing is realistic and not "lets rip off the South African Consumer because we can...". TELKOM will have to do something about their line rental if they wish to retain or get new customers.
 
I will move my landline if they are the same price or cheaper. I will maybe cancel my iBurst if Neotel offers a better deal.
 
I'll change if they're cheaper and better. If they're the same then whats the point. Why even have an SNO is they're no better than Hellkom. Having said that I'm confident that they have better offerings than Telkom.
 
first i'll look at the prices between them and telkom. if neotel is less, i'll go with them. if they're much more expensive, forgetaboutit. if they're more or less the same, or even slightly more expensive, i'll apply for both telkom and neotel, and go with whoever installs my line first :p (as a measure of service levels)
 
If they're the same or better I'll change. They don't even have to beat Telkom's prices or service.
 
Agreed... Looking forward to migrating, even if there are teething problems.
 
i dont know if you can get worse than helkom, the only way is up when your at the bottom as they say, but i guess we'll have to see what happens.
 
Well at the moment IS ADSL seems to be worse than Telkom's, not totally their fault I know but still worse.
 
neotel

its a tough choice, because it looks like neotel is planning on playing the telkom game by charging extreme prices. i will be hesistate to switch, if not to let neotel know early on in the game that they need to compete on price to win. this bull dust about offering customers better service is not the the sweet spot for SA customers, and they know it! dont get me wrong, service is important, but at this stage of the game, low pricing is what we need.

from their press releases, it looks like neotel is planning on being just like every other new telco entrant in SA. small minded. unwilling to grow the pie, rather just take a slice of it. however, we are starting to get quite a few players offering telco services mtn, vodacom, sentech, iburst, telkom and neotel. the more out there, the more pressure there is for one to break the ranks and compete on price. i strongly believe that the company who does this will benefit hugely.
