How good is openbrowse? If you just use it for browsing and you wanna get a 30 gig local with openbrowse...is it any good? what is its pros and cons?

I always wanted to know if you can download large files with openbrowse? Say i want to get a driver from int site that is about 50mb, will openbrowse allow me to download this?

No, not unless it is on a local site/server or you can get it off the IS NS or local hubs.
Check out their website, it has a FAQ page that answers this too.
It isn't perfect, but being able to browse all month without fear of the cap is fantastic..
Cons:
Proxy app is unstable. Pages occasionally (this can be quite bad some days) load half way and require a refresh.
Pros:
For a very low cost, you get what amounts to uncapped browsing. The internet isn't only about downloading as some here would have you believe.
I will always have 10gig local + Openbrowse.. Why waste valuable international bandwidth on browsing?

Dmitrimm, I totally agree with the half pages and refreshing....that's about the only thing that p!sses me off about their proxy

Is it not possible to get a local Saix account and just find a local proxy that runs international? Will it not work the same as openbrowse? Will it even work?
