Who's the mod in this section?

The amount of threads means the OP should have posted it into one of these and the Mods should have just moved the created forum into one of these related threads.

Which I agree with. However, bwana is claiming it was SPAM. Did I miss something?

Yeah. This motoring section needs a copious amount of thread merging.

Simplest solution I can think of is have a News section where FiestaST can post to all his heart content. And a discussions section. I'm here for the discussions not being force fed marketing shyte.

Seconded.

Look at that alternator thread as an example. Highly informative and entertaining. It started in the OT as the OP obviously didn't want it drowned out. Then got moved here and we had to search for it every time to read it and respond. Was annoying as hell.

But the Subaru isn't the cheapest?

I would not know. I was fascinated when I saw it for sub R 400k. That's pretty damn good for a new 4x4 vehicle.

The main point though is that information/discussions are being deleted or drowned out by news copy and pastes. I honestly feel we should have a subsection for discussions or News.

Also, why isn't the motorcyclists thread stickied after we've asked plenty times? I think after 450+ pages, it's earned sticky status.

Pretty much from the look of it.

FWIW FiestaST had nothing to do with it. From what I can see all he did was point out to the poster that there was already an existing thread on the subject.

This.

A subsection would not hurt though. Motoring in itself is a very broad term.

This is why you can go for the Dacia Duster the 1.5 dCI Dynamique 4x4 top of the range for R312 900

Seems like we can all rally behind the subsections suggestion, Also to add the wall of text thing, no need to do that as the accompanying link should have the rest of the news.

I disagree. I like it the way it is. Scrolling down a list of threads never hurt anyone, and strengthens your finger muscles.

Yeah there does need to be a sub section for news.
