I think they are fearing those who come into their communities and cause crime and extra strain on our already failing social welfare programmes.

They weren't exclusively targetted, it was two Zimbaweans who apparently robbed the Somalian shop.

In the Vaal, police received around 100 complaints of looting and vandalism of shops belonging to foreigners and South Africans, following service delivery protests in the area last week.
