Why do people cheat?

All of a sudden working "late", having to work on Saturday mornings, clincher was her new ringtone for a specific caller , "My endless Love" WTF? She never had that before. I wasnt going to insist to look at her phones.

i know people that tend to have their privacy invaded act like you've committed the worst sin ever, as i found out that my ex/partner was cheating on me from invading her privacy. you can still love your partner and feel hurt that they are using you, or you can feel hurt that your partner made a commitment that they couldn't keep.

my advice is find out, and talk to her about it. if you feel like you're being lied to, then the relationship already has an issue. perhaps you feel insecure, she is acting different, finding out that she is cheating will just be the cherry on the cake and if you find out that she isn't cheating, you will still feel like there is a problem with your relationship.

it can feel irrational to want out of a relationship without any real justification or based on an assumption, i think simply take the plunge, find out, and discuss it. you obviously love her and even if there are problems in a relationship, you can carry on loving that person, just in a different way.

it can also hurt HER feelings if you suggest to her that she is cheating when she may not be cheating at all, if you can find out in such a way that puts both your feelings in a safe place, i suggest go for it

Human nature. Conscience saves some of us, but so many people I know, actually want somebody else than the one they're with. Pretty sad, actually.

If the OP has such a big hissy fit about open relationships and cheating.

I hope he never finds out about Hotwife or Cuckold. He'll have a stroke.

IMHO people cheat for variety and excitement and it seldom has anything to do with long term "love". In fact, physically open relationships between mature people where the parties haven't been conditioned into reacting to every dalliance as some kind of nuclear meltdown betrayal can be quite healthy, but only where there is a deeper trust and the maturity to understand that there is a difference between a life long companion and an occasional fling because that contributes to your enjoyment of life. In fact, if your long term relationship can't withstand something like that, then you probably shouldn't be in it in the first place. Let's face it, relationships will become physically boring after enough years so why must we put ourselves in some kind of sexual jail for the rest of our lives just to comply with some social construct of physical monogamy. Jealousy is only an issue if your relationship is not strong enough, in which case maybe you shouldn't be chained to each other anyway.

Wat. So if you don't want your partner ****ing other people you shouldn't be in a relationship?

Wat. LOL!

Do people really have fetishes of their wives being used for sexual satisfaction by other men?

Why!?

Im not going to rant my judgements any more but just give me an intellectual explanation please!?

Is it some more psycological stuff

chances are the problem is lack of communication. either she is cheating because she feels the other guy listens better, or she isn't cheating at all, and your lack of communication is is why you feel she is cheating.

No excuse.
