Why do people keep voting and defending the ANC.

Why vote for the EFF?

Malema has shown us that he is a criminal and does not have the capability to even manage the ANCYL. Why would any sane person think he can manage SA?

We are not dealing with sane voters in Safrica that unfortunately is an symptom of our situation.

So what has Malema done that makes you think that he will be able to run SA? A sane response will do.

It's not about him as an individual, sorry, that's not what I meant.

Many people can relate to what the EFF stands for and agree with the proposals they have. This doesn't make them insane.

Current government and opposition parties are not willing to tackle the hard issues of nationalisation, land redistribution, legacy wealth etc. The EFF comes along with all this rhetoric and attitude about what needs to be done and people, especially poor people, can relate to it. This doesn't make them insane. Misguided maybe. Ignorant maybe. Uneducated maybe. Not insane. The EFF speaks to their needs and fears which are different to ours.

Cause the anc is a betta life for all :)

DA will bring back pik botha

http://effighters.org.za/about-us/

a. Expropriation of South Africa’s land without compensation for equal redistribution in use.
b. Nationalisation of mines, banks, and other strategic sectors of the economy, without compensation.
c. Building state and government capacity, which will lead to the abolishment of tenders.
d. Free quality education, healthcare, houses, and sanitation.
e. Massive protected industrial development to create millions of sustainable jobs, including the introduction of minimum wages in order to close the wage gap between the rich and the poor, close the apartheid wage gap and promote rapid career paths for Africans in the workplace.
f. Massive development of the African economy and advocating for a move from reconciliation to justice in the entire continent.
g. Open, accountable, corrupt-free government and society without fear of victimisation by state agencies.

So essentially Everything For Free - but no mention of where the money will come from.

For all the free ****! What do you think?
That's why they want to nationalise strategic sectors of the economy.
Owing to the character of the South African economy and the aspirations of the people for economic freedom, state ownership and control of strategic sectors of the economy should be the foundation for sustainable economic transformation in South Africa. A supposition that the South African economy can be transformed to address the massive unemployment, poverty and inequality crisis without transfer of wealth from those who currently own it to the people as a whole is illusory. The transfer of wealth from the minority should fundamentally focus on the commanding heights of the economy. This should include minerals, metals, banks, energy production, and telecommunications and retain the ownership of central transport and logistics modes such as Transnet, Sasol, Mittal Steel, Eskom, Telkom and all harbours and airports.
Nationalised mineral wealth will in effect constitute a very firm basis for the beneficiation of these products in both heavy and light industrial processes in South Africa, which could be left to industrial and manufacturing entrepreneurs, co-operatives and small and medium enterprises, so as to develop the productive forces of the South African economy, which is still reliant on the production of primary commodities. Instead of relying on neoliberal mechanisms to attract industrial and manufacturing investments to South Africa, such as a narrow fiscal stability, and decreased labour costs, the state, in the ownership of mineral wealth and metals, could provide incentives to reduce prices for the primary and raw commodities, which will be industrialised and beneficiated in South Afric

So they plan on taking over the mines who currently account for a large % of the tax pool.

Brilliant plan again.

So currently they get taxed, if the EFF nationalise the mines they reap all the profit which will, obviously, be many times the current tax pool. Maybe the poor mine workers will finally see some wealth from all their hard work...

You forget that the mine workers will demand huge salary increases, free housing, free everything.

Our gold mines are dieing, others are under serious pressure.

Simply put, free everything is a lie.

I'm sorry, alluring as the empty promises of policians may be, you'd have to be pretty wonky to consistently want criminals to represent you at the highest level. What is the thinking, that these thieves are suddenly going to grow a concience and start caring for you instead of just themselves? Like that's ever going to happen.

The difference between an honest leader & a thief is that the thief will tell you exactly what you want to hear, gaining your confidence until you trust him enough so he can suck you dry. These people don't want to hear the truth, they want to hear how they're going to be given houses and grants, without a concern who's going to pay for it all.

Funny also how you recognise that their needs & fears are different from ours, but when whites said this about blacks it was called racist.
