Why do people tint their windows?

PRivacy tint is done when you get the car from the stealers...I think you can take you SEAT to VW and ask them to do eeeet....think its like between 2-3k...also keeps lotsa sun rays out, so your right arm won't be darker than your left arm!

1: Protects the interior from UV
2: Hard to see in to the car at night at intersections
3: Serves a dual purpose with smash and grab protection for when they try and break your window anyway.
4: looks great on a lot of cars.
5: Helps prevent glare from the side and protects your skin.

Why wouldn't you get a tint ?

And it looks cool!
