I'm sure she does have friends ... just different ones at different times, so they may seem a little less at a given point

That's odd though, as Mila is afrikaans.
The reason I say this is because of the way in which afr/eng people develop friendships. I'll be generalizing ofcourse, but here it is:
English people tend to make activity friends. By this I mean they do certain activities with certain friends and other activities with a different group of friends.
Afrikaans people (possibly due to their farming community/trek background) tend to have a set group of friends that they do all activities with.
This is obviously not as apparent now as it used to be a few years back, but it still rings true.

What happens when they are on the contraceptive injection which keeps hormonal fluctuations to a minimum? Damn my fiance was cold when she was on the injection. Hmmm actually same thing with my ex. Contraceptive injection FTL! Women need estrogen! The sex is better too!
