Why do women like men.

Ok.... Simplified

Motivated
Healthy
Good looking

haha, that sound less like a job interview :p

Haha but surely it's a good thing to have an idea of what you're looking for?

Haha I used to be less strict and date the fun guys but that never worked out... so now I just don't waste their time I suppose

And surely guys enjoy a challenge? Like having to make an effort?

Well I'm in a stable relationship so I've already found what I'm looking for :D

But in my younger days I didn't have the patience for making an effort and would have been better off going home alone to a jar of vaseline (sorry for the overshare :p) than to sit and make idle chatter hoping that something might happen.

More often than not you end up stumbling into someone who you think is worth more than a one-nighter and at that point you realise that they don't even meet most of your "must have" criteria in the first place.

Moral of the story - the more you make an effort to look for someone, the further away you end up from actually finding them. If times are bad and you're still best friends with your hand after five years, then perhaps the problem lies within and you need to re-evaluate the way you're living your life.

/end philosophical lecture :)

I don't know about most women but I look for someone who is....

Hard-working and self motivated
Generous with his time
Outgoing
Fit- I can't think of anything worse than a guy being holed up in his room all day
Handsome

Money is also a factor (I'm no saint :p) but I like modest men and if you start flashing it around I'm gone

I'm hard-working but not very self-motivated
I am very generous with my time.
I can be outgoing. But just don't take me to places where I'm expected to dance.
Not very fit ... but I recently started playing touchies ( http://www.touchrugby.co.za/ )
Don't know about handsome. I look kinda geekish (I wear glasses).

I've got sweet-blue-buggerall money. I'm a teacher.

A relationship shouldn't be a challenge.

For example you say he must be rich, hard working but not stingy with his time with you - these qualities are normally at odds with each other. It's a tradeoff

Meh... all pretty stereotypical I guess but one thing that makes me different is that I don't date guys that I couldn't imagine one day marrying, otherwise I'm just wasting his time and mine

And what do you have to offer in return? You need something going for you besides your looks.

Nope standardbank is for floesies
Simpler beter faster.

ABSA is the kind you want:
Today tommorow together..:D

You're such a silly, miss Mila :D

If you chill in the corner of a club there's no way a chick is gonna come up to you and talk to you...

Scotty doesn't know...Scotty doesn't know...Scotty doesn't know...:D

Jokes, Scotty. Look, that is generally the case but then there's always the exception to the rule. ;)

And that craigslist posting...crikey, I can taste the bitterness from here! You got knobbed, mate! Or rather, you didn't! Sounds to me like the wussy as opposed to the nice guy that somebody mentioned earlier in the thread. I've seen that happen a good few times and it always ends badly for the guy. And it's excrutiating to watch from another male friend's point of view.

Whaaaaat? Looks are enough for me!

Trust me dude, there comes a time when looks and that thing she does with her middle finger and tongue are no longer enough to counter that "I don't need this excrement in my life anymore" sensation that will begin to rule your life when you realise you will never be successful enough, smart enough or be able to spend enough time with her to keep her happy.

I love the way a bloke posts on a predominantly blokes forum, asking why women like blokes. Luckily the 3 women also responded...:D

Well you might have something in common with her - that's probably what she was thinking every time you stared at her...:p

whahaha, no man :D i talked to her :p i now know, where she lives, where she works, where she's from, lol :D oh, and her name, but not her surname yet! but i'll find that out next week monday, than i'm off to facebook to find her :D:D

and she started talking to ME :o

And her blood type and dna sample? No good stalker leaves without a dna sample...

did you manage to get your hands on her g-string without her realising it?
