Why internet banking struggles on payday

Never had that issue with FNB, yeah Standard Bank, which is why I switched

I never dissed your slow distributed database idea.
Talking about slow. Banking computers in SA sleep on weekends. If I send money on a saturday it will only arrive on a tuesday. If I send money via SWIFT it takes 3 to 4 days for the money to arrive there. Its slow and costs a lot to send money between countries. Its a dinosaur. Crypto is cheaper and faster.

You mean that distributed database governments cant stop that has more market capital than the largest 6 banks in the world combined. Yeah that.

Triple entry accounting > Double entry accounting. That is all
You are going to let the "distributed database" comment slide? You are not in the software industry I assume?

I dont understand what you are saying. It is a distributed ledger, so not understanding your point? Assume that Im like the 99% of the population not involved in the software industry.

Then I'll go with: yes, blockchain technology can solve some of the problems in a bank's tech stack.

Not interested in using Internet Banking via my Smart Phone, just too risky for my liking...

Of course, I was only referring to payday breakdowns in this, compared to say, Standard Bank having an almost regular downtime on a monthly basis.
Very true about Standard Bank. I'm with Standard Bank and it is very frustrating when the services go down with month-end.
